Meet Hera – Our Sweet & Resilient Ruby Girl
Hera is a stunning light ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and at nearly 5 weeks old, she has blossomed into the sweetest little delight. Though she started her journey fighting for survival, she has since settled into the fabulous Cavalier personality the breed is known for—affectionate, gentle, and full of charm.
She currently weighs just under 2 pounds and is expected to be on the smaller side for Cavaliers, with her mom, Scarlet (10 lbs), and dad, Max (15 lbs), both coming from well-bred, health-tested lines. Hera’s soft ruby coat will continue to darken beautifully, and her nose is transitioning from brown to black as she matures.
Hera’s Growth & Development
Hera and her siblings are reaching new milestones every day! They are:
✔ Walking confidently in their playpen
✔ Starting to play and interact with each other
✔ Working on potty training—they naturally leave their sleeping area to potty on the grass pad
✔ Teething—their little teeth have come in, and they are exploring gentle chew toys
We are continuing their sensory and enrichment training, exposing them to various sights, sounds, and experiences to help them grow into well-adjusted, confident puppies. They have completed Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and their noise/music sensitivity training includes classical music blended with real-world sounds like ringing phones, children laughing, and sirens.
Hera’s Adoption Package
Hera will be ready to go home around February 28 and will come with:
